A community service spotlight as seen on KHON News!
When 35 bikes were left abandoned for over a year at The Villa On Eaton Square's property, General Manager John Pampalone reached out to Premier Restoration Hawaii to see if we could help to move the bikes to a Kalihi based organization called Kalihi Valley Instructional Bike Exchange or KVIBE.
The KVIBE organization is born out of Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services, a federally qualified health center serving the Kalihi community, and provides children the opportunity to earn a free bike by learning how to fix and maintain it.
We are so grateful for this opportunity to give back to the community and to support such a wonderful organization that provides both a useful skill for youth and promotes an active lifestyle.
So the next time you or someone you know is throwing a bike out, please consider Kalihi Valley Instructional Bike Exchange program. Donation are accepted Wednesday-Saturday from 2pm - 6pm at their Kalihi location:
