“With the exceptional growth Premier has experienced over the last 3 years, we felt it was time to find a leader that could take the company to the next level in both customer experience and breadth of service offered. Wayne, with his exceptional operational experience makes for a natural fit with our seasoned management team.” said Chris Eldridge, acting President and CEO of Premier.

With his MBA from Harvard and operational work experience spanning Europe, South East Asia and the US, Mr Smith brings a global, yet highly pragmatic work style to Premier. “I feel my fit here in Hawaii at Premier comes from a culturally diverse operating background having led large divisions for multi-nationals, small regional business units in industries ranging from cement manufacturing in Michigan to large industrial equipment rental in the UK; Premier is a company poised to be a market dominant force with a great work ethic and culture – the sustained growth potential is what got me excited about working with this group.” said Mr. Smith.

Wayne will be tasked with upgrading the overall customer experience while taking the company to all islands. Mr. Eldridge will maintain the CEO title to ensure a seamless transition occurs over the first year.
